About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget
- Manage end-to-end delivery of multiple complex medical communications projects
- Lead day-to-day project operations, maintaining project plans, budgets, resources, and deliverables
- Coordinate communications between internal teams and clients
- Support development of project briefs and Statements of Work with Client Services
- Lead estimation discussions and develop budget ranges with documented assumptions
- Identify regulatory, technical, and operational risks and implement proactive solutions
- Maintain project documentation, templates, reporting tools, and project records
- Prioritize deliverables and assignments through stakeholder communication
- Partner with Client Engagement on client relationships and account strategy while owning delivery planning, execution, and risk management
- Assign and coordinate work across UX, Graphic Design, Animation, Software Development, and QA teams
- Manage project resources and adapt plans to changing requirements
- Control project scope, monitor risks, develop contingency plans, and communicate impacts
- Lead project retrospectives, capture lessons learned, and implement process improvements
- Monitor project financials, status updates, and key performance insights
- Coach and mentor Project Coordinators and junior team members
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Science, or related field
- 5–7+ years of digital, project management, account management, healthcare, or agency experience
- Experience managing client-facing digital projects
- PMP, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or related certification is considered an asset
- Strong project management skills with a structured approach to delivering projects on time and within scope
- Ability to balance client needs with business objectives
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proven experience planning and delivering digital projects
- Strong client service, negotiation, and conflict-resolution abilities
- Experience with web and mobile development projects; HTML5, iOS, and Android experience is an asset
- Demonstrated success managing multiple priorities, budgets, schedules, and cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices
- Excellent verbal, written, meeting, and time-management skills
- Adaptable, organized, and detail-oriented
- Pharmaceutical or healthcare industry experience is an asset
- Experience with project management tools such as MS Project, Basecamp, or Redmine
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
