About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Guide new publishers through onboarding and technical and operational integration with Paved
  • Educate partners on the platform, monetization opportunities, and placement best practices
  • Accelerate publishers to first revenue and remove activation friction
  • Manage an assigned book of publisher accounts from SMB through enterprise
  • Grow revenue by increasing inventory, improving yield, and expanding placements and newsletters
  • Monitor performance data, analyze trends, and provide actionable insights
  • Lead commercial conversations, negotiations, and upsell opportunities
  • Lead quarterly business reviews with top-tier partners
  • Troubleshoot rendering, tracking, and delivery issues with Ad Operations and Engineering
  • Build documentation, best practices, and educational content
  • Develop and streamline processes as the publisher base scales
  • Collaborate with Sales, Ad Operations, and Product
  • Meet team members and learn the publisher offering during the first week
  • Transition into the existing account book and independently onboard publishers within the first month
  • Within six months, onboard five new newsletters representing $50,000 in potential revenue, own publisher account management, and deliver weekly pipeline, activation, and revenue reporting

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2+ years of experience in customer success, account management, partnerships, or publisher development, ideally in AdTech, media, or digital advertising
  • Experience in email or newsletter advertising specifically is strongly preferred
  • Direct experience onboarding publishers or partners onto a platform, including technical setup
  • Track record of growing existing accounts
  • Experience working with SMB and enterprise accounts
  • Working fluency in ad tech fundamentals: CPM, CPC, CPA, fill rate, RPM, and auction clearing
  • Strong sales acumen with ability to negotiate and close deals
  • Excellent relationship management and communication skills
  • Solid analytical skills to interpret data, extract insights, and drive strategic recommendations
  • Self-motivated and comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with little day-to-day supervision
  • Experience with CRMs
  • Fluent in English
  • Experience with programmatic advertising and ad serving platforms is nice to have
  • Familiarity with email deliverability and Apple MPP/privacy changes is nice to have
  • Prior experience owning a revenue target tied to partner growth is nice to have
