About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Define and guide the strategy for the social projects and programs portfolio, aligning initiatives with the priorities and purpose of RME and IRME.
  • Establish priorities, objectives, indicators, and criteria for the creation, evolution, expansion, or discontinuation of projects and programs.
  • Guide the design and evolution of solutions, ensuring alignment among audience needs, methodology, experience, budget, and expected outcomes.
  • Ensure the quality and governance of projects and programs by monitoring strategic initiatives and addressing risks, deviations, and critical decisions.
  • Guide program monitoring and evaluation, using data, evidence, and lessons learned to support decision-making and increase the impact of initiatives.
  • Strengthen relationships with partners, funders, and strategic stakeholders, participating in discussions and negotiations relevant to the programs.
  • Guide financial planning and portfolio oversight, ensuring the responsible use of resources and fulfillment of commitments.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation, improvement, and scaling to increase the effectiveness and reach of impact solutions.
  • Lead and develop the teams under your responsibility, fostering integration, autonomy, collaboration, and a results-oriented culture.
  • Lead the Social Projects and Programs Directorate at RME and IRME, an organization that promotes women’s entrepreneurship, employability, income generation, and financial independence through courses, mentoring, projects, and events.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in a field related to the position.
  • Significant experience in project management, social programs, education, social impact, or related fields.
  • Experience in leadership roles, including team management and development.
  • Experience managing projects or portfolios, including budgets, indicators, outcomes, and risks.
  • Experience leading complex initiatives involving multiple departments and stakeholders.
  • Experience building relationships with partners, funders, companies, institutes, foundations, civil society organizations, and/or the public sector.
  • Ability to use indicators, outcomes, and lessons learned to support decision-making and improve projects and programs.
  • English proficiency (Level 3).
  • Graduate degree or specialization related to the position is a plus.
  • Experience in the nonprofit sector, private social investment, impact businesses, foundations, or institutes is a plus.
  • Experience with educational programs, productive inclusion, entrepreneurship, income generation, or impact initiatives focused on women is a plus.
