About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Define and direct the national and international fundraising strategy, establishing priorities, targets, and performance indicators.
Expand and diversify funding sources and develop new partnership opportunities.
Build consultative, long-term relationships with companies, institutes, foundations, funders, and national and international organizations.
Lead the development and co-creation of projects and value propositions that connect partners’ objectives with RME’s purpose and social impact.
Direct the prospecting, negotiation, retention, and expansion of sponsors and strategic partners.
Manage the fundraising pipeline and forecast, tracking opportunities, conversion, renewal, and expansion.
Integrate Marketing, relationship management, communities, and events into the strategy for generating opportunities and strengthening the RME brand.
Represent RME in institutional engagements, negotiations, forums, and events.
Lead and develop the managers and teams under your responsibility.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, International Relations, Communications, Marketing, Public Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field.
Solid experience in fundraising, institutional development, strategic partnerships, institutional relations, or impact business development.
Experience in leadership positions, including team management and responsibility for significant targets.
Experience building and negotiating partnerships with companies, institutes, foundations, funders, and/or international organizations.
Experience managing fundraising pipelines, forecasts, targets, and performance indicators.
Experience developing value propositions, co-creating projects, and building long-term relationships.
Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills with executive and institutional stakeholders.
Experience in the nonprofit sector, impact investing, or impact businesses is preferred.
Experience with international fundraising and fluency in English for working with international partners and funders is preferred.
