About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Administer and configure Jira, Confluence, Google Workspace, Slack, and Iru across the company
- Build automation and integrations for tickets, provisioning, reporting, and other manual workflows
- Provide first-line IT support for hardware, software, and access issues
- Manage the service desk within SLA
- Manage the device fleet through Iru, including enrolment, baseline configuration, and patching
- Evaluate and safely roll out AI tools with security and compliance in mind
- Support SOC2/Vanta activities by providing evidence, maintaining documentation, and keeping controls compliant
- Manage account provisioning and de-provisioning
- Maintain accurate asset inventory
- Track licence usage and costs
- Serve as the first point of contact for IT and tooling questions across the company
- Work with Ops & Finance, Security, People & Admin, and all Refined employees
Requirements
What you’ll need- Solid experience administering SaaS tools, ideally including the Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence)
- Hands-on IT support experience covering hardware, software, and access management
- Experience with an MDM platform such as Iru/Kandji, Jamf, Intune, or similar
- Comfortable connecting systems; willingness to read documentation and use vendor support
- Genuine interest in automation and AI
- Strong self-management, routines, and follow-through
- Comfortable communicating clearly with technical and non-technical colleagues in English
- Experience with SOC2 or similar compliance frameworks preferred
- Experience with automation tools or scripting preferred
- Background in distributed/remote teams preferred
- Self-driven, curious, and motivated by helping people
