About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Increase orders and sales of Power Efficiency Solutions (PES)
- Identify customer pain points and develop application-level value propositions
- Nurture stakeholder relationships and recommend technical solutions focused on the Air Moving portfolio
- Help customers qualify Regal Rexnord solutions
- Leverage new product development and existing product portfolios to drive growth in air moving
- Engage in new product development for advanced electric motor and airflow systems
- Gather Voice of Customer data and drive internal new product requirements
- Participate in project decision point reviews covering market pricing, cost analysis and technical specifications
- Consult with customers during the pre-sales phase on CRAC/CRAH, air handlers, package units, chillers and other applications
- Provide system sizing recommendations
- Develop quantified value messaging for Data Center customers based on lifecycle benefits including energy efficiency, reliability, connectivity, integration and sustainability
- Partner with Product Management and Application Engineering to recommend PES products and services
- Understand HVAC application architectures, system integrations, condition monitoring and predictive analytics
- Ensure exceptional customer experiences and facilitate long-term customer relationships
- Monitor competitive offerings and drive purposeful innovation and new product development initiatives
- Report to the Senior Product Manager of Air Moving Solutions
Requirements
What you’ll need- BS in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology or a related field
- 3+ years of commercial or technical experience in electric motors, HVAC air flow and cooling, or general industrial B2B applications
- Strong presentation communication skills
- Strong/passionate customer focus
- Strong analytical, problem solving, negotiation, and relationship management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work to tight deadlines
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams) and CRM software
- Ability to work independently
- Experience working with 80/20 and Power BI
- Commercial HVAC or Data Center HVAC application experience
