About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Advance Regal Rexnord’s corporate advocacy strategy across global, federal, and state governments
  • Serve as a strategic advisor and advocate for the enterprise
  • Execute the company’s advocacy efforts and build relationships with key decision makers
  • Coordinate engagement across business units and identify opportunities to shape policy outcomes
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on legislative, regulatory, and budget developments
  • Represent the company in industry coalitions, trade associations, and advocacy forums
  • Engage with government officials, trade associations, and community stakeholders
  • Build and maintain bipartisan relationships with congressional offices
  • Develop the company’s response to regulatory proposals from domestic and international government agencies
  • Partner with Sourcing, Trade Compliance, EHS, Operations, Corporate Tax, and Engineering
  • Coordinate external lobbyists, consultants, and trade associations
  • Prepare executive updates and talking points
  • Report directly to the Vice President, Trade Compliance, Government Affairs and Sustainability

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in political science, public policy, public administration, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in government affairs, regulatory compliance, or public policy
  • Experience in industrial manufacturing strongly preferred
  • Deep understanding of federal and state legislative and regulatory processes
  • Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and influencing skills
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented, and collaborative environment
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing innovative strategies and driving change across large, diverse organizations
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage all levels of management
  • Leadership and negotiation skills
  • Ability to travel 25%
