About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide technical and disciplinary leadership for the team, with a focus on Linux, SAP Basis, SRE, and databases
Continuously develop the team’s technical focus areas and strategies
Plan and implement security-related measures in compliance with applicable standards and requirements
Contribute to the installation, monitoring, and support of complex IT systems, ranging from traditional servers to modern platform services
Support certification and quality assurance activities in IT operations
Coordinate third-level support for core systems
Ensure efficient resolution processes for incidents and problems

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completed university or university of applied sciences degree in IT, or completed IT training with relevant professional experience
In-depth knowledge of Linux administration
Experience working with Docker, Kubernetes, and databases
Practical experience in SAP Basis administration, ideally with SAP R/3 and/or S/4HANA
Structured and analytical approach to work
Initiative and strategic thinking
Teamwork and strong communication skills
Ability to motivate and lead people
Very good German language skills, both written and spoken (at least C1 level)
