About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide technical and disciplinary leadership for the team, with a focus on Linux, SAP Basis, SRE, and databases
- Continuously develop the team’s technical areas of expertise and strategies
- Plan and implement security-related measures in accordance with applicable standards and compliance requirements
- Support the installation, monitoring, and administration of complex IT systems, ranging from traditional servers to modern platform services
- Support certification and quality assurance initiatives in IT operations
- Coordinate third-level support for core systems and ensure efficient resolution processes for incidents and issues
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed university or university of applied sciences degree in IT, or completed IT vocational training combined with relevant professional experience
- In-depth knowledge of Linux administration
- Experience working with Docker, Kubernetes, and databases
- Practical experience in SAP Basis administration, ideally with SAP R/3 and/or S/4HANA
- Structured and analytical approach to work
- Initiative and strategic thinking
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to motivate and lead people
- Very good written and spoken German (at least C1 level)
