About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead complex strategic initiatives and transformation projects supporting the Seniors Services Strategic Plan
  • Champion innovation, research, evaluation, and continuous quality improvement across the division
  • Build and strengthen partnerships with health system leaders, community agencies, government partners, and academic institutions
  • Develop business cases, strategic plans, briefing notes, Council reports, and executive-level recommendations
  • Represent Seniors Services at regional, provincial, and system-level tables
  • Influence policy, funding, and service integration opportunities
  • Lead organizational change initiatives and support innovative service delivery models
  • Oversee divisional budgets, resource planning, and performance measurement
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to managers and professional staff
  • Advance services and outcomes for seniors and caregivers across Peel

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • University degree in a relevant field
  • Master's degree in Health Sciences, Health Administration, Business Administration, or related discipline preferred
  • Minimum 8 years of progressive leadership experience in a senior management capacity
  • Experience leading large-scale transformation and change initiatives
  • Knowledge of seniors services, long-term care, community support services, integrated care, or a related health sector environment
  • Proven ability to build strategic partnerships and navigate complex stakeholder environments
  • Strong financial, strategic planning, and project management skills
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship management abilities
  • Demonstrated success leading high-performing multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong political acuity, sound judgement, and a collaborative leadership style
  • Off-site work location must be within the province of Ontario
