About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Facilitate Small Business Administration (SBA) transactions on behalf of Relationship Managers
- Educate associates on the benefits of SBA lending
- Utilize external referral sources to generate new business
- Develop and manage SBA programs and create strategies to originate SBA loans in the marketplace
- Develop referral sources to solicit SBA loan opportunities
- Present the company's loan capabilities and structure SBA loan proposals
- Maintain a thorough understanding of SBA policies and structure, product knowledge, and financial analysis
- Support Regions Commercial Bank across North Central Alabama
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree and seven (7) years of experience in banking or sales
- Prior involvement in generating SBA loans or related experience preferred
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment and be a team player
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Coverage of North Central Alabama supporting Regions Commercial Bank
- This position may be filled at a higher level depending on the candidate's qualifications and relevant experience
