About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversee the systematic deployment of project activities, tools, and processes throughout the lifecycle of a transformation
  • Ensure projects remain on time and within budget
  • Certify project goals and success markers are met
  • Collaborate with project teams, functional owners, and project sponsors to execute the full project life cycle and achieve business outcomes
  • Partner with business, technology, and operations stakeholders to implement the bank’s transformation goals
  • Use the transformation organization’s framework to plan, execute, and transition simple-to-intermediate transformation programs or threads on complex programs
  • Develop and manage project plans, transformation status, and risks to success
  • Support transformation managers on enterprise program delivery
  • Draft project deliverables for review with Transformation Managers
  • Maintain ownership during all program phases to ensure deliverables follow plans
  • Solicit supervisor/manager feedback before finalizing project deliverables
  • Provide project and program status reporting

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Master’s of Business Administration and four (4) years of transformation or project management experience
  • Or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field and four (4) years of directly related experience in business transformation at a top tier consulting firm, e.g. Mckinsey, BCG, Bain, Deloitte, PwC, E&Y
  • Or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field and six (6) years of transformation or project management experience
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred
  • One (1) year of banking or financial services experience is preferred
  • Experience at a top 5 consulting firm is highly valued and may substitute two of the eight years for traditional transformation experience
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
