About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Handles complex evaluations, appraisals, and appraisal reviews
- Provides consultations to loan officers
- Independently completes required appraisals and appraisal reviews meeting USPAP standards
- Establishes market values and property ratings supporting real estate investments in equity and loans
- Conducts studies of real estate values and trends in markets
- Collaborates with senior management to develop team goals and objectives
- Advises and guides junior analysts, supporting skill development and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Six (6) years of related experience, primarily in Commercial Real Estate
- Certification as a General Real Estate Appraiser in a state in Regions’ footprint
- Ability to learn additional systems as needed
- Ability to research, analyze data, and derive facts
- Ability to work in a team environment when applicable
- Ability to work under limited guidance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong work ethic and self-motivation
