About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Supports and influences Credit Products end-to-end processes and procedures
- Identifies key performance indicators
- Monitors and reports on process and interdepartmental service level agreements
- Implements business-wide improvement initiatives for the Credit Products Group and broader Corporate Banking Group
- Develops and implements end-to-end tracking, monitoring, and reporting in Credit Products
- Identifies, suggests, and implements best practices utilizing core commercial systems within the bank
- Leads complex, multi-faceted workstreams and/or projects spanning multiple organizational areas and levels
- Identifies complex problems and root causes and develops innovative solutions using internal and external resources
- Identifies and addresses inefficiencies in the credit process and works with stakeholders to improve compliance and performance
- Summarizes information independently where existing templates or methodologies do not exist
- Reviews Credit Products procedures to ensure conformity across lines of business and identifies potential improvements
- Works with Credit Products management to identify gaps in performance and compliance reporting
- Delivers tangible and implementable solutions
- Serves as a subject matter expert and may guide less experienced analysts
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Seven (7) years of process improvement and/or project management experience or other closely related business unit experience
- Demonstrated success participating in process improvement projects
- Knowledge of the Credit Products processes and commercial banking industry
- Previous experience in Financial Services, preferably supporting Commercial or Corporate Banking business groups
- Six Sigma-Master Black Belt certification
- Experience writing data queries and performing data analysis
- Ability to evaluate change management impact and risk
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects
- Effective analytical and critical thinking skills
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Strong solution documentation and presentation skills
