Key responsibilities & impact
  • Contributes to the advancement of cloud strategy
  • Develops, communicates, and implements robust and secure cloud CI/CD pipelines
  • Assists with releasing candidate CI/CD pipelines to communicate release states and steps
  • Designs and develops autonomous CI/CD pipelines for automated cloud infrastructure, services, application builds, and deployments
  • Ensures pipelines use software engineering practices, automated tests, and infrastructure tests
  • Builds tools to reduce errors and improve customer experiences
  • Troubleshoots production issues and ensures pipelines and infrastructure produce documentation and metrics for Root Cause Analysis
  • Develops and tests Ansible playbooks, Terraform scripts, and Packer scripts
  • Establishes immutable infrastructure
  • Works with Enterprise Architecture, Information Security, Software Delivery, and Quality Assurance teams to enable cloud adoption through automation
  • Ensures compliance with risk management programs, regulations, cybersecurity practices, and disciplined change management
  • Administers and maintains EDR, EPM, and secure browser/secure access platforms
  • Monitors, investigates, and responds to security events, alerts, and incidents
  • Implements security policies, system configurations, and access controls
  • Develops and maintains security workflows, integrations, and operational processes using PowerShell and Python
  • Manages code, configuration baselines, and IaC repositories using Git-based source control
  • Creates and maintains Ansible playbooks and automation solutions
  • Collaborates with engineering, operations, and security teams to improve cyber defense capabilities
  • Develops technical documentation, SOPs, and security implementation guides
  • Analyzes system and security telemetry to identify threats and vulnerabilities
  • Supports vulnerability remediation, configuration management, and security hardening

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or GED and six (6) years of related post-secondary education and/or experience in Information Security or Information Technology
  • Two (2) years of relevant DevSecOps experience preferred
  • AWS DevOps certification or Azure DevOps certification preferred
  • Experience in building / deploying cloud native applications – OpenShift, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) preferred
  • Experience with interfacing with secrets management solutions like Hashicorp Vault preferred
  • Familiar with implementing Chaos engineering principles in the pipeline preferred
  • Familiar with testing tools used to facilitate automation and integration of the tools into CI/CD pipelines preferred
  • Ability to interpret and ensure compliance with applicable rules, regulations, and industry guidance
  • Excellent knowledge of Cloud infrastructure, networking, services, and cloud architectural patterns, including virtual machines, managed infrastructure, containers, serverless, databases, security services, and application services
  • Proficient in Python programming language
  • Understanding of Shift Left principles and facilitation technologies
  • Working knowledge of Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Ansible, Terraform, Packer, Git, and ServiceNow
  • Experience administering endpoint detection and response (EDR), endpoint privilege management (EPM), and secure browser/secure access platforms preferred
  • Experience monitoring, investigating, and responding to security events, alerts, and incidents preferred
  • Experience developing security workflows and integrations using PowerShell and Python scripting
  • Experience with Git-based source control platforms
  • Experience creating Ansible playbooks and automation solutions
  • Experience with technical documentation, SOPs, and security implementation guides
  • Experience analyzing system and security telemetry
  • Experience supporting vulnerability remediation, configuration management, and security hardening
  • Prior SOC, Incident Response, Threat Hunting, or Cyber Defense Operations experience preferred
  • Must currently be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
