About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop, communicate, and implement robust and secure cloud CI/CD pipelines
  • Assist with releasing candidate CI/CD pipelines and communicating release states and steps
  • Design and develop autonomous CI/CD pipelines for automated infrastructure, services, application builds, and deployments
  • Ensure pipelines follow software engineering practices, including automated tests and infrastructure tests
  • Build tools that reduce errors and improve customer experiences
  • Troubleshoot production issues and ensure pipelines and infrastructure provide documentation and metrics for root cause analysis
  • Develop and test Ansible playbooks, Terraform scripts, and Packer scripts
  • Establish immutable infrastructure
  • Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Information Security, Software Delivery, and Quality Assurance teams to enable cloud adoption through automation
  • Ensure compliance with risk management programs, regulations, cybersecurity practices, and change management processes
  • Administer and maintain EDR, EPM, secure browser, and secure access platforms
  • Monitor, investigate, and respond to security events, alerts, and incidents
  • Implement endpoint security policies, configurations, and access controls
  • Develop and maintain security workflows, integrations, and operational processes using PowerShell and Python
  • Manage code, configuration baselines, and IaC repositories using Git-based source control
  • Create and maintain Ansible playbooks and automation solutions for security administration, deployments, and remediation
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and security teams to improve cyber defense capabilities
  • Develop technical documentation, SOPs, and security implementation guides
  • Analyze system and security telemetry to identify threats, vulnerabilities, and improvement opportunities
  • Support vulnerability remediation, configuration management, and security hardening initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or GED and six (6) years of related post-secondary education and/or experience in Information Security or Information Technology
  • Two (2) years of relevant DevSecOps experience preferred
  • AWS DevOps certification or Azure DevOps certification preferred
  • Experience building/deploying cloud native applications, including OpenShift and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), preferred
  • Experience interfacing with secrets management solutions such as Hashicorp Vault preferred
  • Familiarity with implementing Chaos engineering principles in pipelines preferred
  • Familiarity with testing tools used for automation and CI/CD integration preferred
  • Ability to interpret and ensure compliance with applicable rules, regulations, and industry guidance
  • Excellent knowledge of cloud infrastructure, networking, services, and cloud architectural patterns
  • Proficient in Python
  • Understanding of Shift Left principles and facilitation technologies
  • Working knowledge of Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Ansible, Terraform, Packer, Git, and ServiceNow preferred
  • Experience administering and maintaining enterprise endpoint detection and response (EDR), endpoint privilege management (EPM), and secure browser/secure access platforms preferred
  • Experience monitoring, investigating, and responding to security events, alerts, and incidents preferred
  • Experience developing security workflows and integrations using PowerShell and Python preferred
  • Experience with Git-based source control platforms, infrastructure-as-code repositories, and Ansible playbooks preferred
  • Prior SOC, Incident Response, Threat Hunting, or Cyber Defense Operations experience preferred
  • Applicants must currently be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
