About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Establish a portfolio of bank customers by meeting their financial objectives through sound advice and guidance
- Provide investment solutions and products to meet customer goals
- Offer in-depth guidance through Financial Planning services
- Identify and follow up on opportunities to establish customer relationships through prospecting, lead utilization, and local market/community involvement
- Build and maintain a strong client network and pipeline
- Provide and demonstrate expert-level portfolio planning skills and comprehensive industry and investment knowledge
- Conduct and/or participate in investment performance and relationship reviews
- Keep junior-level staff informed about investment products and opportunities
- Adhere to compliance requirements and follow corporate and industry protocols
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or GED
- Six (6) months of related experience
- Series 7
- Series 63 & 65 or Series 66
- Life Insurance License must be obtained within 60 days from employment start date
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Certified Financial Planning, Chartered Financial Consultant and Certified Retirement Specialist preferred
- Two (2) years of Financial Advisory experience preferred
