About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Focus on the delivery of credit and a broad range of product/service client solutions to Government and Institutional clients
  • Identify, prioritize and develop relationship strategy for high-value retention, expansion clients and acquisition targets
  • Deliver knowledgeable advice and solutions, institutionalize client relationships, and optimize revenue opportunities to the Commercial Bank
  • Isolate current and emerging client needs and proactively introduce solutions
  • Work with relevant business partners in team-based portfolio development and expertise delivery
  • Plan and execute quality client/prospect calls
  • Manage transaction processes from initial engagement through final close, including structure, pricing, internal approval/compliance processes and documentation
  • Exercise credit acumen and pricing discipline
  • Complete Relationship Management Process training and credit acumen assessment
  • Develop consistent practices learned through the Relationship Management Process and required credit training

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Seven (7) years of experience in Government and Institutional Banking or sales
  • At least five (5) years of Relationship Management experience
  • Ability to manage multiple and consistently evolving priorities
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Positive reputation and network of industry contacts
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Relevant graduate degree preferred
  • CTP Designation preferred
  • May be filled at a higher level depending on the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience
