About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Maintain escrow accounts administered by the loan servicing group
  • Receive and provide escrow analysis in accordance with RESPA, HUD, and FHA guidelines
  • Audit tax, flood, hazard, and other escrow vendors
  • Complete escrow processing, including timely payment of taxes and insurance, customer statements, and annual analysis
  • Complete escrow research requests
  • Monitor and track flood insurance for escrowed loans
  • Apply and enforce compliance and regulatory matters
  • Communicate with customers regarding escrow questions
  • Investigate and clear outages on general ledger accounts
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of escrow trailers on loans
  • Process private mortgage insurance (PMI) waivers and payments
  • Ensure compliance with risk management programs, rules and regulations, and cybersecurity practices
  • Identify and support process improvements and apply disciplined change management practices
  • Track time and work overtime for hours exceeding 40 per week when applicable

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • One (1) year of loan servicing or related work experience
  • Ability to interpret and ensure compliance with applicable rules, regulations, and industry guidance
  • Data entry and typing skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Strong time management
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Monday-Friday 7:30-4:30 during training
  • Monday-Friday 8am-5pm following training
  • Regular work hours including full days in the office three or more days a week
