About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead a diverse team of IAM engineers, analysts, and administrators
- Implement IAM best practices across the enterprise and ensure operating systems are secure
- Develop and maintain Information Security standards related to Identity & Access Management
- Ensure processes are appropriately documented
- Partner with Risk/Audit teams to meet access-management compliance objectives
- Develop Key Risk Indicators and Key Performance Indicators to ensure operational effectiveness
- Identify and implement improvements in IAM processes and systems
- Plan, estimate, staff, organize, and monitor significant project activities
- Serve as the primary escalation point for IAM-related issues and provide solutions
- Recruit, train, coach, communicate job expectations, and appraise associate performance
- Partner across Technology, Operations, Digital, and Data to strengthen risk management, compliance, and cybersecurity
- Evaluate risk and control impacts when designing or implementing changes
- Oversee administration and optimization of HashiCorp Vault and CyberArk secrets platforms
- Drive automation of secrets and vault operations through CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and DevSecOps practices
- Expand enterprise secrets capabilities and promote automated password and secrets management
- Partner with application, platform, and security teams to onboard services across multi-cloud and on-premises environments
- Build and lead a high-performing team aligned with IAM strategy and modern security practices
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in a related field and six (6) years of related experience
- Two (2) years of lead or supervisory/managerial experience
- Basic understanding of UNIX security related to user access and provisioning
- Experience managing Information Technology and/or Information Security projects
- Experience with Agile methodology
- Experience with PowerBI/Tableau for reporting projects
- Understanding of network and infrastructure, including TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS, DNS, firewalls, proxies, IDS, and IPS
- Significant knowledge of Active Directory security related to user access and provisioning
- Hands-on experience leading and scaling enterprise secrets management platforms, including HashiCorp Vault and/or CyberArk
- Expertise in DevSecOps, automation, infrastructure-as-code, automated secrets lifecycle management, and CI/CD integration
- Experience driving enterprise-wide adoption of privileged access and secrets management across multi-cloud and hybrid environments
- Leadership experience building and developing engineering teams with cloud security, platform engineering, and identity technologies
- Ability to manage multiple efforts concurrently and work independently
- Planning and project management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication, organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to interpret applicable rules, regulations, and industry guidance
- Must currently be authorized to work full-time in the United States
- Recognized security industry certifications such as CISSP or CAP preferred
