About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Identify, win, and grow relationships with middle market income property developers, owner operators, and investors
- Originate new business through new and existing client relationships
- Leverage industry contacts and deal experience to identify opportunities for Regions Bank
- Create and manage strategic, long-term relationships with client decision makers
- Participate in client meetings, client planning sessions, and product partner meetings
- Guide transaction processes from initial engagement through final close, including deal structure, financial modeling, internal approval/compliance processes, and documentation
- Cross-sell the bank’s products and services through partnerships with key product, credit, corporate, and commercial banking geography partners
- Communicate and interact with client team members across the bank and with internal partners and product areas
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Real Estate, Finance, or Economics
- Five (5) years of commercial real estate banking experience
- Network of industry client contacts
- Proven ability to lead by example and effectively manage a deal team
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Position may be filled at a higher level depending on the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience
