About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist in the development and creation of client marketing materials
- Generate financial models, including leveraged buyout and discounted cash flow analysis
- Work closely with senior team members and other bank groups to prepare transaction offering documents
- Assist in conducting bank/investor meetings and sell-side management presentations
- Conduct industry and market research
- Complete valuation analyses
- Conduct and assist in financial due diligence
- Support Managing Directors, Directors, and Vice Presidents across Capital Markets business groups
- Support deal processes including due diligence, client onboarding, and reporting
- Research client and industry trends and participate in strategic and tactical planning
- Develop analytical skills, gain exposure, build relationships, and prepare for future Associate roles
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree with proven record of high achievement
- Coursework in financial accounting and corporate finance
- Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Attention to detail and ability to multi-task under pressure
- Clear, logical thinker with strong qualitative and mathematics abilities
- Commitment to excellence and achieving results
- Creative problem solver with ability to perform well under pressure
- Energetic self-starter with willingness to work long hours and take on significant and multiple responsibilities
