About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Meet with customers and prospects in person and by phone to determine financial needs
  • Proactively offer appropriate products, services, and guidance to help customers achieve financial goals
  • Achieve branch targets and goals by identifying customer needs and recommending Regions’ solutions
  • Conduct outbound calls using customer and prospect lead lists
  • Expand existing customer relationships and acquire new customers
  • Educate and advise customers on Consumer and Business products and services, including loan and deposit types
  • Educate customers on mobile, online, and ATM digital solutions
  • Share responsibility for greeting customers and processing transactions
  • Provide a consistent optimal customer experience
  • Own and resolve customer issues
  • Refer customers with complex needs to internal experts
  • Follow bank processes, procedures, laws, and regulations
  • Complete duties assigned by the Branch Manager
  • Manage, identify, and report operational risks as a branch team member

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to work Saturdays as needed
  • Ability to handle cash and process cash transactions
  • Ability to communicate in person, on the phone, and through electronic channels
  • Ability to use a computer on a frequent basis, including typing and sustained attention to a monitor
  • Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift up to twenty (20) pounds
  • Registration with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS)
  • Ability to adhere to policies, procedures, and guidelines
  • Ability to assist customers with digital banking offerings
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Ability to oversee large sums of cash
  • Excellent relationship-building skills
  • Strong communication and customer focus
