Key responsibilities & impact
  • Reviews Retail Banking performance metrics and identifies trends, risks, and opportunities to improve sales, service, productivity, and operational effectiveness
  • Partners with Consumer Banking Executive leadership to develop and execute strategies to drive business growth and consistent field execution
  • Establishes accountability for execution against key performance indicators, operational expectations, and strategic objectives
  • Develops and implements standardized processes across the Retail network
  • Identifies performance gaps and implements mitigation strategies
  • Optimizes workforce deployment and staffing strategies across branch segments, markets, and job families
  • Leads initiatives to improve customer engagement, sales effectiveness, and service delivery
  • Utilizes data, analytics, and business insights to influence decision-making and drive execution strategies
  • Oversees performance enablement programs for sales execution, service delivery, coaching effectiveness, and associate productivity
  • Provides leadership for Retail segment strategy execution
  • Leads and develops the Retail performance enablement team
  • Oversees Retail Sales and Service Managers
  • Directs the Retail Market Coach function
  • Provides strategic oversight of Financial Wellness and Education initiatives
  • Leads the Retail Sales and Service Tools Support function

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Management, or a related field
  • Fifteen (15) years of leadership experience in banking, retail banking, sales management, or a related financial services environment
  • Ability to lead through change and organizational transformation
  • Demonstrated leadership and team development skills
  • Effective communication and influencing skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience leading performance improvement initiatives
  • Proven ability to drive results in a complex, matrixed environment
