About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- First point of contact for customers and business partners regarding support requests related to the Customs & Foreign Trade product portfolio
- Prompt, solution-oriented handling of customers’ technical inquiries
- Support with the integration of TARIFE Premium / Export, HADDEX sanctions lists, and Rules of Origin & Preferences into customers’ system environments
- Identify customer needs and incorporate them into product development and process optimization
- Implement improvements together with specialist colleagues and IT
- Operational maintenance of the products
- Reliable documentation
- Provide cover for preparing quotations, determining licenses, and processing orders during peak periods and vacation absences
- Support customers across internal interfaces
Requirements
What you’ll need- Successfully completed commercial or technical vocational training
- Practical experience using foreign trade data products and implementing them in software solutions
- Familiarity with customs tariffs, sanctions lists, and rules of origin
- Initial professional experience in customer service, Customer Care, or Customer Success
- Ideally, experience in customs, foreign trade, or compliance
- Confident use of MS Office
- Ideally, initial experience with SAP GTS, Klopotek, HubSpot, or comparable systems
- Confident, conscientious, and structured approach to work
- Strong analytical skills
- Very good German and English skills at C1 level
- Willingness to engage with customers, work as part of a team, and develop sustainable solutions
