About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Deliver domestic and international relocation services to corporate and government clients’ relocating employees through employer-sponsored and direct-to-employee programs
  • Administer relocation services according to policy, company processes, procedures, and regulations
  • Identify employee needs, refer additional services and support, and cross-sell offerings
  • Manage caseloads involving selective assistance relocation programs and services for private-sector corporate and government clients
  • Coordinate tasks for policy and entitlements counseling, compensation and expense management, destination services, household goods moves, temporary housing, property management, immigration, rental assistance, marketing assistance, home sale services, and international assignments
  • Conduct needs assessments, cost estimates, budget creation, funding requests, and policy or program counseling
  • Audit relocation expenses against policies, programs, budgets, Federal Travel Regulations, and Joint Travel Regulations
  • Counsel transferees on expense submission, review, and tax assistance benefits
  • Act as primary client contact and provide consultative solutions addressing service, cost, budget, funding, and approval objectives
  • Place referrals within supplier and preferred networks and identify needs beyond employee-sponsored benefits
  • Maintain timely, accurate, and complete records in computer systems while protecting PII and secure information
  • Provide mentorship and training to other employees as directed
  • Participate in client and business development meetings and presentations
  • Achieve performance metrics and influence teammates toward company results
  • Use customer feedback and SWOT analysis to improve processes, products, and services
  • Build knowledge and skills to improve performance and enhance value
  • Communicate clearly with clients, employees, teammates, and stakeholders
  • Support strategic development of customer relationships by sharing expertise, leveraging resources, and anticipating needs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years of professional experience counseling all levels of employees on relocation or related policies and benefits
  • 2+ years counseling specifically on corporate and government domestic and international relocation policies, with comprehensive knowledge
  • Direct client and supplier interaction on service exceptions and relocation statuses
  • Demonstrated multitasking, prioritization, analytical thinking, strong organizational skills, and excellent communication skills
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail while coordinating complex multifaceted processes with speed and efficiency
  • Track record of exceeding customer service expectations
  • CRP and/or GMS is a bonus
  • Real estate experience, knowledge, or exposure, including an accredited broker license, is a bonus
  • Selected candidate must pass government security clearance
  • Preference for candidates who have previously obtained security clearance, including Top Secret, and can maintain or re-obtain it
