About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Schedule and organize meetings, travel, conferences, and activities for the Campus President and Campus
  • Establish, develop, maintain, and update filing systems
  • Retrieve information from files as needed
  • Sort and distribute mail
  • Answer phones, take messages, and handle routine and non-routine questions
  • Coordinate phone coverage with the Campus receptionist
  • Type and design correspondence, memos, charts, tables, graphs, and business plans
  • Proofread and edit documents for spelling, grammar, and layout
  • Maintain confidential files and records
  • Compile regular and special reports
  • Supervise front-desk personnel, maintenance personnel, vendors, contractors, Wonderlic proctors, and security personnel as assigned
  • Maintain, update, and distribute staff schedules, phone lists, and vendor lists
  • Participate in graduation ceremonies as assigned
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
  • Perform the job onsite when required; work remotely when onsite work is not required

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associate degree preferred
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in administrative services
  • Demonstrated competency in word processing, spreadsheet, and Internet software
  • Must adhere to College policies and procedures, state and federal statutes and regulations, and accreditation standards
  • Must maintain confidentiality
  • Must exercise discretion and independent judgment
  • Must maintain professional and effective working relationships with Campus personnel
