Produce high-quality funding applications for a portfolio of charitable and not-for-profit organisations
Write clear, compelling and well-structured grant applications
Work from client information, project documentation and funder requirements
Edit and proofread draft applications
Ensure submissions address funder questions and eligibility criteria
Prepare and submit completed applications through online funding portals
Manage multiple applications and deadlines simultaneously
Research and identify relevant grants and funding programmes
Review funding opportunities against eligibility and suitability criteria
Match appropriate opportunities with organisations and projects
Maintain an ongoing pipeline of potential funding opportunities
Contribute ideas to make research and opportunity-matching processes more efficient
Use AI tools to support funding research, funder and programme research, opportunity matching, application drafting and improvement, editing, quality assurance, and internal workflow improvements
Ensure suitable funding opportunities are consistently identified and high-quality applications are researched, written, reviewed and submitted accurately and on time

Requirements

What you’ll need

Excellent professional writing, editing and proofreading skills
Ideally, experience in grant writing, bid writing, proposal writing, fundraising or a closely related field
Confidence researching and quickly assessing and interpreting funding opportunities
Ability to understand detailed guidelines and translate complex information into clear, persuasive written applications
Exceptional attention to detail
Highly organised and comfortable managing competing deadlines
Ability to work effectively and independently in a fully remote environment
Confidence learning and working with new technology
Experience using AI tools or willingness to develop practical AI skills
Interest in improving processes and finding more efficient ways of working
Ability to take ownership of work and consistently deliver to a high standard
