About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Source and engage construction and built-environment candidates through headhunting, referrals, market mapping and specialist recruitment tools
- Build and maintain candidate pipelines for current vacancies and future hiring needs
- Screen and interview candidates, assessing experience, motivations, availability and suitability for each brief
- Work closely with consultants to understand role requirements, project details, packages and recruitment processes
- Prepare candidate shortlists and accurate profiles for consultant review and client submission
- Coordinate interviews, manage candidate feedback and support offer negotiations and successful starts
- Maintain accurate candidate records and activity updates in the recruitment system
- Build long-term relationships with candidates and contribute to agreed delivery and placement targets
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience in recruitment resourcing, candidate delivery or a related recruitment role
- An interest in or exposure to construction, property, real estate, engineering, infrastructure or a related professional market
- Confidence in sourcing candidates, making outreach calls and conducting candidate screening conversations
- Strong communication, relationship-building and organisational skills
- Attention to detail, consistent follow-through and ownership of your candidate pipeline
- The ambition to develop specialist market knowledge and progress within recruitment
- Candidates from other specialist recruitment markets with strong sourcing skills and a genuine interest in construction will also be considered
