US Recruitment Business Development Manager / 360 Recruiter

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and grow the company's US recruitment business
- Identify and approach prospective clients across the United States, with particular interest in candidates who understand the Texas market
- Generate meetings with Heads of Talent, CTOs, Engineering Directors, hiring managers and other decision-makers
- Convert conversations and meetings into new clients, live vacancies and genuine recruitment opportunities
- Sell permanent and/or contract recruitment services to US organisations
- Build long-term relationships with new and existing clients
- Understand clients' hiring requirements and manage recruitment processes from vacancy through placement
- Work with the recruitment delivery team on candidate sourcing and delivery
- Help manage candidates through interviews, offers and onboarding
- Provide responsive client and candidate support during US business hours
- Develop existing accounts to generate repeat vacancies and additional opportunities
- Maintain a healthy pipeline of prospects, opportunities and active clients
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 1 year's experience selling recruitment services into the US
- Proven success selling recruitment services into the US market
- Experience selling permanent and/or contract recruitment solutions
- Demonstrable track record of winning new recruitment clients and generating vacancies
- Evidence that business development activity has resulted in meaningful revenue opportunities
- Experience engaging senior decision-makers such as Heads of Talent, CTOs, Engineering Directors and hiring managers
- Strong outbound business development and new-business skills
- Good account management and relationship-building capabilities
- Ability to manage recruitment processes involving both clients and candidates
- Confidence and commercial awareness to develop relationships from initial prospecting through to established recruitment accounts
- Ability and willingness to work 2:00 pm–10:00 pm UK time on an ongoing basis
- Experience developing recruitment business in Texas would be particularly attractive
- Understanding of how to sell agency recruitment services into US companies
- Significant success selling permanent or contract recruitment services if background includes offshore consultancy, outsourcing or similar services
