About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the full weekly payroll cycle and related tax work for approximately 150 employees
- Review and post employee timesheets each day
- Finalize timesheets, double-check PTO and premiums, and verify certified payroll rates on Monday and Tuesday
- Upload payroll and process payment on Wednesday
- Complete payroll tax filings and certified payroll reports on Wednesday and Thursday
- Perform benefit reconciliations and 401(k) reconciliations on Friday
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations related to payroll
- Upload and post equipment entries
Requirements
What you’ll need- Some accounting knowledge (entry-level candidates are welcome)
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to follow a structured, repeatable process and meet weekly deadlines
- Comfortable working with payroll data, tax filings, and reconciliations
- Experience with Spectrum is preferred; willingness to learn is essential
- Familiarity with certified payroll is a plus
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Reliable internet connection and professional remote work setup
- Availability to work from 2:00 PM Arizona time zone onwards
- Ability to start immediately
