About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Raise and send customer invoices and credit notes
- Allocate customer payments and reconcile the ledger
- Chase overdue accounts by email and phone
- Prepare debtor ageing reports
- Resolve invoice queries with customers and colleagues
- Keep the debtors ledger accurate for a UK business
- Own invoicing and help get customers paid on time
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience in accounts receivable, debtors or credit control
- Experience with Xero, QuickBooks or Sage
- Strong Excel skills and numeracy
- Clear, professional written English
- Attention to detail and reliability
- Experience with UK VAT invoicing
- Familiarity with Stripe or GoCardless
- Experience with month-end close
