About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Raise and track purchase orders
- Obtain and compare supplier quotes
- Maintain supplier records and contract details
- Chase deliveries and resolve invoice queries with finance
- Produce monthly spend reports
- Work closely with suppliers and the finance team
- Keep records clean and spend visible
- Join the client's existing team with a named manager in the UK, regular video check-ins, and clear goals
Requirements
What you’ll need- 1 to 2 years in procurement, purchasing or buying admin
- Experience raising purchase orders in an ERP such as SAP, Sage or NetSuite
- Strong Excel skills
- Clear written English for supplier communication
- Accuracy with numbers and documents
- CIPS study, completed or in progress (nice to have)
- Experience working with UK suppliers (nice to have)
- Must work UK hours, 09:00–17:00 UK (11:00–19:00 SAST), Monday to Friday
