About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Enter supplier invoices accurately into the ledger
  • Match invoices to orders and delivery notes
  • Resolve invoice queries with suppliers
  • Prepare payment proposals for approval
  • Reconcile supplier statements to the ledger
  • Own the purchase ledger from supplier invoice through approved payment
  • Work with clear processes and collaborate with the team

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience on a purchase ledger or accounts payable, with examples of accurate processing
  • Familiarity with Xero, QuickBooks or Sage
  • Good Excel skills
  • Reliable laptop, stable fibre internet and a quiet workspace
  • Availability for 09:00–17:00 UK time (11:00–19:00 SAST)
  • Experience with three-way matching (nice to have)
  • Familiarity with Dext or Hubdoc (nice to have)
  • Experience with UK VAT coding (nice to have)
