About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the global benefits renewal calendar and complete renewals on time
- Review renewal terms, pricing, coverage, cost increases, and gaps; support broker and provider negotiations
- Research local market practices and statutory requirements for new or enhanced benefits plans
- Compare proposals on coverage, pricing, exclusions, and limits, and manage selected plans from scoping through launch
- Oversee enrolments, changes, and terminations
- Coordinate with Payroll, Finance, and Legal to ensure accurate billing
- Reconcile invoices, employee data, and plan costs
- Handle employee and client benefits questions and escalations
- Guide internal teams on statutory versus supplemental benefits by market
- Manage relationships with brokers, insurers, and local partners
- Track market, regulatory, and insurance offering changes
- Improve and document scalable global benefits processes
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years in employee benefits, benefits administration, insurance, or HR operations
- Strong knowledge of health insurance
- Familiarity with life, disability, pension, and wellness benefits is a plus
- Hands-on experience managing benefits renewals or new plan implementations
- Experience reviewing plan proposals and comparing coverage and pricing with brokers or insurers
- Benefits experience across multiple countries, with understanding of varying jurisdictional requirements
- Background in EOR, PEO, global mobility, HR tech, international payroll, or insurance brokerage is a strong advantage
- Analytical skills to assess pricing, plan structures, and commercial proposals
- Highly organised and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple renewals and projects simultaneously
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Benefits experience across EMEA, GCC, APAC, or LATAM is nice to have
- Experience with benefits benchmarking and market analysis is nice to have
- Exposure to benefits audits, compliance reviews, or due diligence is nice to have
- Familiarity with HRIS or benefits administration platforms is nice to have
