About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Split time between the office and travel to various events and retail sites
  • Assist the Director of Event Marketing with recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and training Event Marketing Promoters
  • Research, evaluate, and book events, RSVP locations, and potential retail locations
  • Conduct on-site training with Event Marketing Promoters, including lead generation
  • Foster a positive, competitive, and performance-driven culture across Event and Retail Marketing teams
  • Manage, coach, and develop the Team Lead
  • Hold the Team Lead accountable for assigned market performance
  • Identify opportunities to improve team and market performance
  • Conduct at least two Event/Retail site visits per weekend, totaling at least eight field hours, with a target of four site visits per weekend
  • Ensure lead-setting policies, qualification standards, and procedures are consistently followed
  • Serve as a point of contact and resource for newer representatives in the field
  • Assist with appointment qualification and accurate scheduling when necessary
  • Submit written recaps of each site visit by the following Wednesday
  • Meet weekly with the Director of Event & Retail Marketing to review performance, events, staffing needs, and objectives
  • Assist with event setup, execution, and breakdown as needed
  • Arrange coverage or work events in the event of last-minute callouts
  • Provide consumer feedback, field observations, and information for event and retail recaps
  • Maintain professionalism and represent Renewal by Andersen's brand and values
  • Help maintain at least a Level 3 bonus performance level across Event and Retail teams
  • Recognize strong performance and address underperformance through coaching, expectations, and accountability
  • Submit mileage and expense reimbursement forms before the end of each applicable pay period
  • Maintain event and retail displays, marketing materials, and equipment

Requirements

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to listen
  • Flexibility and demonstrated ability to adapt well in a changing environment
  • Ability to work with a sense of urgency to complete responsibilities timely
  • Able to conduct research, work under tight deadlines, and develop and organize information
  • Data-driven; ability to tell a story based on qualitative and quantitative data
  • Ability to find resolution, deliver difficult feedback, and advise management
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs
  • Must be able to lift, bend, step up, and kneel
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • At least 2 years of leadership experience
