About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Conduct complex credit analyses, assessing payment capacity, financial structure, indebtedness, relationship history, market behavior, and risk exposure
  • Prepare technical credit assessments, recommending the establishment, maintenance, or review of credit limits and commercial terms
  • Analyze strategic customers, higher-exposure transactions, and exceptional situations, balancing commercial opportunities with financial risk mitigation
  • Monitor the credit portfolio, identifying changes in risk profile, exposure concentration, limit utilization, and signs of financial deterioration
  • Periodically review credit limits and credit-granting criteria
  • Support the development and evolution of credit policies, criteria, approval authorities, and processes
  • Develop analyses and studies on credit risk, delinquency, financial exposure, and portfolio performance
  • Track credit indicators and propose actions to reduce risks and improve portfolio performance
  • Partner with the Sales, Collections, Finance, and other relevant departments
  • Support the assessment of collateral, differentiated payment terms, and risk mitigation instruments
  • Identify opportunities to improve and automate processes, controls, tools, and models
  • Contribute to the team’s technical development
  • Ensure proper documentation of credit analyses and decisions
  • Participate in strategic projects related to Credit, Accounts Receivable, risk management, and the transformation of financial processes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Solid experience in credit analysis and underwriting
  • Knowledge of financial statement analysis, economic indicators, and payment capacity assessment
  • Experience defining, reviewing, and managing credit limits and commercial terms
  • Experience in credit risk, delinquency, collateral, and financial exposure management
  • Knowledge of credit bureaus, credit checks, and risk assessment tools
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools
  • Knowledge of Power BI and ERP systems, preferably SAP S/4HANA
  • Experience applying Artificial Intelligence to data analysis and process optimization
