About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop pricing models incorporating margins based on competitor, market, and customer data
  • Use statistical analysis to track marketplace pricing trends using industry databases, catalogues, competitive quotes, and Renovo’s cost to self-support
  • Research customer attitudes toward price changes and assess tolerable changes or potential shifts to competitors
  • Track contracted price increases tied to the US Consumer Price Index (CPI)
  • Administer, maintain, and analyze Renovo’s pricing database
  • Govern pricing data and create and maintain customer and market price lists
  • Provide analytics and reporting tools for internal functional areas
  • Ensure prices and programs conform to the organization’s pricing strategy
  • Document and maintain pricing processes
  • Review and administer price deviations and exceptions
  • Ensure pricing data accuracy and eliminate pricing errors
  • Prepare and price RFP submissions, engaging and directing additional resources as needed
  • Respond to pricing queries from employees
  • Work with stakeholders to resolve costing errors
  • Analyze and report on margin and market pricing to identify opportunities
  • Perform ad hoc pricing analysis as required
  • Report on KPIs and SLAs for Business Reviews
  • Work with the VP of Operations and VP of Sales and Marketing
  • Report to the Director of Risk Rating
  • No supervisory responsibilities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, or mathematics, or equivalent education
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in sales, marketing, or finance
  • Pricing experience is highly preferred
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Strong business acumen and demonstrated experience working with and supporting operations and sales teams
  • Advanced computer skills with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Power BI
  • Confident communication skills with supervisors, support teams, customers, and vendors
  • Ability to utilize data from multiple sources for pricing process improvement and pricing decisions
  • Ability to perform ad hoc analysis using appropriate statistical techniques
  • Minimum availability of 40 hours per week
