Credit Controller – FTC

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Maximise collection of debt and reduce debtor days in line with company targets
- Manage and collect customer accounts
- Take responsibility for a section of the ledger
- Achieve agreed collection targets
- Provide reports on account performance
- Control and monitor daily debt
- Monitor cash allocation and propose corrective action on allocated accounts where needed
- Escalate serious issues to the Team Leader or Credit Manager
- Provide excellent customer service
- Resolve business queries within agreed timeframes
- Perform ad hoc administration duties
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of 2 years’ experience within a collections environment
- ICM qualification would be advantageous
- Ability to initiate and facilitate continuous improvements
- Ability to work to strict timeframes
- Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy
- Excellent IT skills including MS Office and Pivot tables
- Understanding of audit controls
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills
- Good organisation skills
- May be required to pass a DBS check depending on the role
