About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Administer HR processes throughout the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, employee records, performance management and offboarding
- Prepare, log and submit payroll instructions for the monthly payroll run while adhering to SOX compliance and HR operations controls
- Advise managers and colleagues on absence management, including maternity, paternity, and long- and short-term absence
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in Workday, including personal information, benefits, attendance and performance data
- Respond to employee inquiries and provide first-level HR advice to line managers and colleagues, escalating complex matters
- Compile HR data and prepare monthly dashboards and reports on headcount, turnover and training initiatives; analyse trends and recommend improvements
- Keep up to date with HR best practices
- Assist with HR projects, employee engagement initiatives, D,E&I activities and colleague social events
- Support annual cycle activities including PDR and Talent & Succession Reviews
- Drive continuous improvement across employee lifecycle and HR processes
- Provide general HR administration, including scheduling meetings, preparing documents and maintaining HR files
Requirements
What you’ll need- Demonstrable high attention to detail
- Good experience and knowledge of IT systems, preferably Google Suite
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to flex working style across a diverse client group
- Further Education qualifications to grade C / Merit equivalent
- Prior experience as an HR Administrator
- Prior experience of managing large data sets with a high level of attention to detail
- Has or working towards CIPD or similar qualification
- Degree or equivalent in a relevant field
- Experience using an HR information system, including accessing, inputting, running reports and compiling data
- Experience working with and advising line managers
