About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead infrastructure and workplace technology operations across China and APAC
- Coordinate regional execution of global infrastructure standards, architecture, and operational processes
- Ensure availability, performance, resilience, and security of regional technology services
- Enable secure access to global enterprise applications while addressing China-specific technical and regulatory requirements
- Establish and govern secure connectivity for third-party business partners and external service providers
- Partner with Cybersecurity, Legal, Privacy, Quality, and Compliance teams on technology risk and regulatory requirements
- Manage regional infrastructure vendors, telecommunications providers, contracts, and budgets
- Support manufacturing, laboratory, quality, supply chain, and business operations through reliable IT services
- Lead regional incident management, disaster recovery planning, and business continuity readiness
- Develop and mentor regional infrastructure and site support personnel
Requirements
What you’ll need- 8+ years of progressive IT Infrastructure, Network, Workplace Technology, or IT Operations experience
- 3+ years of leadership or management experience
- Experience supporting multinational operations within China and the broader APAC region
- Experience working within a global IT operating model and collaborating with centralized infrastructure teams
- Strong background in infrastructure operations, networking, cloud technologies, cybersecurity, and service delivery
- Experience supporting regulated manufacturing, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, life sciences, or similar environments
- Professional proficiency in both Mandarin Chinese and English
- Preferred: Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, and enterprise infrastructure technologies
- Preferred: China localization strategies for enterprise applications and cloud services
- Preferred: Third-party connectivity, B2B integrations, APIs, and supplier connectivity frameworks
- Preferred: Understanding of China cybersecurity, privacy, and data-transfer requirements
- Preferred: Experience supporting acquisitions, integrations, or rapid organizational growth
