About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Convert attended seller appointments into signed purchase agreements
  • Run in-person, in-home seller appointments throughout Greater Houston
  • Drive to appointments, plan routes, inspect properties, and gather photos, videos, notes, and deal details
  • Build rapport, understand seller motivation, identify decision-makers, and assess property condition
  • Calculate offer ranges using the company’s underwriting process
  • Present cash offers and negotiate purchase agreements
  • Handle objections regarding price, repairs, timing, uncertainty, and competing options
  • Follow up through calls, texts, and email until there is a yes, no, or clear next step
  • Maintain CRM notes, tasks, statuses, and follow-up dates
  • Collaborate with lead managers, leadership, transaction coordination, and dispositions
  • Attend huddles, pipeline meetings, sales training, roleplays, and coaching sessions
  • Review calls and appointments and apply feedback
  • Progress from onboarding and shadowing to independently running appointments and owning the assigned pipeline

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3+ years of proven success in high-ticket B2C sales, outside sales, in-home sales, door-to-door, solar, roofing, automotive, insurance, mortgage, home services, or a similarly competitive sales environment
  • Steady work history without hopping from job to job every 12–18 months
  • Based in Houston and comfortable driving throughout the city for appointments
  • Reliable vehicle and active driver’s license
  • Highly motivated by money, production, and winning
  • Ability to ask direct questions without sounding abrasive
  • Ability to stay calm when sellers push back
  • Ability to build trust quickly with people from different backgrounds
  • Strong emotional intelligence and good judgment
  • Consistent follow-up and pipeline management
  • Clean CRM notes
  • Willingness to accept coaching and apply feedback
  • Competitive without being arrogant
  • Ownership and problem-solving mindset
  • Spanish is not required, but is a major plus
  • Real estate experience is helpful, but not required
