About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage new and aged seller leads through the front of the acquisition funnel
  • Build rapport with homeowners and understand motivation, timeline, property context, and decision-making factors
  • Qualify seller opportunities and set productive appointments for the acquisitions team
  • Reopen older leads and follow up until there is a clear yes, no, or future next step
  • Maintain accurate CRM notes, statuses, next steps, tags, and follow-up dates
  • Learn the company’s four seller programs: Cash Offer, Equity Protection (Novation), Flexible Finance, and Investor Network
  • Participate in call reviews, role plays, coaching, and performance reviews
  • Progress from shadowing and supervised calls to independent lead management
  • Conduct outbound calling and follow-up activity while maintaining PPL compliance and clean CRM records
  • Prepare for acquisition readiness by developing offer, objection-handling, pricing, and negotiation judgment
  • After promotion, conduct seller appointments, evaluate situations, present offers, negotiate terms, approve pricing within defined limits, and pursue signed contracts
  • Report to the Director of Acquisitions and meet documented KPIs for speed to lead, conversations, appointments, call quality, and CRM accuracy

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or GED
  • No minimum years of experience required
  • Prior real estate experience not required
  • Experience may include inside sales, appointment setting, lead management, or high-ticket B2C sales
  • Experience in door-to-door, roofing, solar, home services, automotive, insurance, or other performance-driven sales may be relevant
  • Customer-facing relationship experience may be relevant
  • Military or other disciplined, performance-oriented background may be relevant
  • Ability to build trust quickly, handle pressure, follow through consistently, accept coaching, and develop into a closer
  • Spanish is ideal, but not required
  • Availability for Monday-Friday, 10:00 AM-7:00 PM, with evenings and weekends as needed
  • Reliable availability for real-time seller responsiveness
  • Ability to travel locally for seller appointments and field work
  • Ability to use CRM, calling/texting systems, REI Reply, Propstream, and Microsoft 365
