About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Collect past due balances on assigned accounts
- Build lasting relationships with customers and internal parties
- Minimize Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and Over 90-day delinquencies
- Perform collection activities on invoices and recycle hauls
- Contact customers and providers to address outstanding balances
- Reconcile and research accounts internally and externally
- Facilitate resolution of disputed balances
- Communicate findings to invested parties
- Document actions taken on customer accounts
- Provide customer service to internal and external customers
- Prepare weekly follow-up reports on credit and collection activity
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned or apparent
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience collecting for high dollar accounts
- Minimum of 2 years of collections or relevant experience
- This position is not sponsorship eligible
