About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Source both passive and active candidates to assist with difficult searches and high requisition volume.
Create sourcing strategies to target, identify, map, and engage potential candidates.
Monitor and track market developments, industry, people, and company trends to identify potential candidate pools.
Conduct online research for résumés and candidate profiles using job boards, social networking sites, and internet research.
Identify and attend industry events to network and attract qualified talent.
Evaluate potential candidate profiles and conduct preliminary phone screen assessments.
Screen candidates for availability, interest level, salary range, relocation needs, and basic qualifications.
Evaluate candidate motivators and influence decision-making by selling candidates on opportunities with Republic Services.

Requirements

What you’ll need

CIR, AIRS, Social Talent or another similar talent sourcing and/or recruiting certification.
Demonstrated proficiency, and interest, in utilizing social media, conducting internet research, and sourcing.
Experience using tools and generating sourcing ideas outside of the traditional methods of recruiting.
Experience in developing strong relationships through establishing trust and credibility with colleagues.
Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision and prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced, ever changing environment.
Strong organizational skills and high level of attention to detail.
0 - 2 years of experience in talent sourcing and building pipelines to support hiring needs.
