Key responsibilities & impact

Design, optimize, and automate scalable enterprise analytics platforms
Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions for Tableau dashboards, SQL scripts, and Python code
Establish standards for source control, testing, and release management
Build scalable Tableau architecture for enterprise reporting and governed data use
Define and maintain Tableau Cloud configuration, data models, permissions, and refresh processes
Optimize data sources, extracts, and queries for dashboard performance
Monitor performance and resolve bottlenecks across reports and infrastructure
Administer and maintain Tableau Cloud environments, including configuration, upgrades, monitoring, and capacity planning
Implement security and access controls for analytics governance
Develop Python automation tools for Tableau asset management, performance monitoring, and analytics workflows
Build integrations across Tableau, Snowflake, and Salesforce systems
Collaborate with Data Engineering on reusable pipelines and transformations
Translate analytical requirements into reliable, high-performing technical solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field
5+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data infrastructure, or BI platform development
Advanced proficiency in Tableau development, architecture, and dashboard optimization
Hands-on experience with Tableau Cloud/Server administration
Strong Python programming and automation skills
Practical experience with CI/CD processes and GitHub or GitLab workflows
Solid understanding of SQL and Snowflake
Familiarity working within SaaS or software product environments
