About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage and grow an assigned sales territory
  • Serve as a trusted field representative and company ambassador to the medical community
  • Drive sales of company services through prospecting, quoting, and closing new business
  • In-service and educate new and existing accounts
  • Manage and grow existing business
  • Document activities and opportunities according to company standard operating procedures
  • Achieve revenue goals for service sales and assigned product lines
  • Provide daily updates on sales activity, competition, and business opportunities
  • Maintain CRM activity and submit required paperwork
  • Submit monthly expense reports and manage expenses within the approved budget
  • Collaborate with Product Managers to generate new business and expand existing accounts
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of company product lines
  • Communicate customer needs to Customer Experience and internal teams
  • Complete issue resolution documentation
  • Report performance insights and territory assessments to management

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare, Marketing, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • Minimum 2+ years of medical sales experience preferred
  • 4+ years of total sales experience with demonstrated success
  • Strong computer proficiency, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Reasonable commuting distance of Roanoke, Virginia or South Virginia
