About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Identify, qualify, and sign new prospects
- Support existing contracts within Mid-Market and emerging brands with 16–100 locations
- Work within a matrix sales and operations organization
- Close sales and ensure seamless customer implementations
- Establish selling strategies and tactics to generate new business
- Build relationships with corporate stakeholders, including regional and district managers, operations, engineering, purchasing, executive, and leadership teams
- Develop and execute strategic plans to meet company objectives
- Collaborate with the National Sales Specialist and local sales team members on mid-market chains and hotel management group initiatives
- Manage sales materials, presentations, contracts, and pricing
- Forecast new business monthly and quarterly
- Document daily activities and sales processes in the CRM system
- Participate in industry events, conferences, and trade shows
- Cover the Central US region and travel up to 50%
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3–5 years of related experience and/or training
- Prior experience selling to national accounts
- Competency in selling value-add items
- Food and beverage industry experience strongly preferred
- Demonstrated success across the entire sales process, including prospecting, qualifying, obtaining commitment, negotiating, and account maintenance
- Experience with a CRM, specifically Salesforce
- Ability to travel up to 50%
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or Marketing preferred
