About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage Loss Prevention operations across Canada and support all Fox Group banners operating in the Canadian market
- Reinforce organizational core values and support compliance with company policies and applicable legislation
- Partner with Store Managers, field leadership and Head Office teams on LP training, store audits, inventory loss, shrink, risk exposures and business relationships
- Generate, analyze and communicate reports related to shrink, stock loss, investigations and fraud prevention
- Ensure Loss Prevention standards and procedures are consistently executed across Canadian stores
- Manage CCTV and alarm systems, review footage, identify issues and coordinate resolutions in compliance with privacy legislation
- Review inventory accuracy and shrink controls across the store network
- Conduct store audits and communicate findings and action plans
- Support development and implementation of Canadian LP policies, procedures and workflows
- Ensure stores meet Health and Safety requirements and provincial regulations
- Communicate and implement Loss Prevention directives and initiatives
- Develop and maintain LP reporting to reduce theft, fraud, risk and inventory shrinkage
- Conduct internal and external Loss Prevention investigations and investigative interviews
- Coach and influence Store Managers and field leadership to strengthen LP awareness, accountability and compliance
- Monitor discount and employee purchase activity through reporting and audits
- Coordinate and support inventory counts across all brands
- Support development of the Canadian LP function and help build the LP team
- Improve Loss Prevention processes, controls and operational efficiency
- Develop and deliver training on Loss Prevention practices, safety protocols and emergency response procedures
- Stay informed about surveillance and Loss Prevention technology and recommend improvements
- Conduct regular risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies
- Report to the CEO / General Manager, Canada, with a dotted line to the Global Head of Security
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 3 years of progressive Loss Prevention management experience in a high-volume retail environment
- Strong knowledge of retail Loss Prevention, shrink management, investigations, inventory controls and store auditing
- Ability to build strong relationships across multiple levels of the organization
- Demonstrated ability to coach and influence Store Managers and operational teams
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills
- Ability to prepare and deliver reports, metrics and audits with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Degree or diploma in Law Enforcement or a related discipline preferred, or equivalent relevant experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Fluency in English is required
- French is an asset
- A current Provincial Security Guard Licence and Standard First Aid / CPR certification are considered assets
- Regular presence in stores
- Regular travel across Canada based on business needs
- Additional travel on short notice may occasionally be required to respond to critical or exceptional incidents
