About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build and maintain technical controls across SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and other enterprise security and compliance frameworks
  • Automate compliance workflows, evidence collection, access reviews, security checks, and repetitive processes
  • Partner with Engineering and Security to implement and monitor controls for access management, infrastructure, data protection, logging, and vulnerability management
  • Support audits by owning technical evidence collection and working with auditors to address compliance requirements
  • Respond to customer and internal security questionnaires, compliance requirements, and technical due diligence
  • Identify gaps in compliance and security programs and build scalable systems to address them
  • Work closely with Engineering, Security, Legal, and customer-facing teams to keep infrastructure and products secure, compliant, and enterprise-ready

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Strong technical background in software engineering, security, infrastructure, IT, or a related field
  • Interest in compliance, security, and scalable compliance programs
  • Ability to learn security and compliance frameworks and turn requirements into practical technical solutions
  • Strong scripting or programming skills in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Bash, or a similar language
  • Understanding of IAM, encryption, networking, logging, vulnerability management, and cloud security
  • Highly analytical approach to solving ambiguous problems
  • Comfort working across Engineering, Security, Legal, and customer-facing teams
  • Clear communication of technical and compliance concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience with SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, or other compliance frameworks is a plus
  • Experience with AWS, GCP, Vanta, Drata, Wiz, Okta, or similar tools is a plus
  • Must be open to working some overlapping hours with the Pacific Time team and customers
